This story about the Big Box of Cables felt like it was written for me. I have three boxes full of cables, adapters, memory cards, and other bits, and I'm going to guard them with my life. Something from those boxes always comes in handy. Lately, I've used them to set up the docks mounted under my table and get my pixel display running. I may not always have the exact cable, but I can usually put together something that works.
We're planning a short trip to Neemrana Fort Palace for my birthday. My grandmother can't travel, so she'll be at home with her caretaker while we're away. Most of today went into installing two indoor smart cameras so we can check that she's safe at home. Even the microSD cards for them came from those same boxes.
